Our Animals

Our sheep are free ranged on our farm and we rotate pastures, while still having access to their barn and fresh water at all times. We currently have sheep for wool and eco-friendly land maintenance. We have a lovely selection of fiber breeds with a variety of wool that we have for sale in yarn, roving, or made in to eco friendly dryer balls. We try to use everything from our sheep, even their wool scraps are turned into wool pellets to be used in your garden.

Llamas and Bill

Rupert is the guardian of our flock. He spends his time with his best friend Bilbo Goatins while he patrols the pastures keeping everyone safe from predators. Rupert will let out different humming sounds to alert of different things, like if a sheep has escaped, if he sees something he doesn’t like, or if he wants us to give him a snack.

Olive and Vinz are our PR llamas - which is exactly what it sounds like - they are our public relations llamas! When we do onsite or offsite events they are who you will meet. They enjoy long walks through the farm, kisses, and snacks.

Organic Raw Michigan Honey

Our honey bees are what started this whole journey. To Pre-Order Honey please contact us at Honey@GoldenBeeFarm.com

Guardian Geese

Our geese are a barnyard mix of Sebastopol and Chinese geese. They were added to our farm for their ability to consume snails and slugs, as well as be little weed eaters (they graze along with the sheep) and alarms. They let us know as soon as something is different or if they see a face they don’t recognize. They have sweet and sassy personalities and have been a joyful addition.
